Queue Management
Show live queue and counter information on your screens. Connect your queue management system once — the platform displays who's next, which desk to go to, and how many people are waiting.
What does this module do?
The Queue Management module connects your digital signage screens to an external queue management system (for example Q-Manager). Instead of managing numbers manually, the module pulls live queue data from your queue system and displays it automatically on your screens.
Typical use cases are reception areas, pharmacies, bakeries, municipal service desks, and any location where customers take a ticket and wait to be served.
- Live queue data — automatically show the number currently being served, the desk or counter to report to, and the numbers still waiting
- Central connection — connect your queue system once at platform level; every screen using a queue template then displays live data
- Ready-made queue templates — choose from templates that already contain the queue elements
- Fully styleable — adjust the font size, colour, and animation of each queue element
- Overlay support — for supported systems, the live queue view can be placed transparently over your own template design
- Real-time updates — as the queue system calls the next customer, the screen updates automatically
How to set up
Follow these steps to configure the Queue Management module.
Step 1 — Open the module
Navigate to Modules in the main menu and open the Queue management module. You will see the available queue system connection (for example Q-Manager) with a Connect button.
Step 2 — Connect your queue system
The connection is set up by your administrator, because it requires API credentials from your queue provider. If the Connect button is not yet active, contact your administrator to have the API linked. Once active, live queue data becomes available to your templates.
The module is available on Business, Enterprise, and Premium plans. If you don't see it, contact your administrator about upgrading.
Step 3 — Select a queue template
Go to the template library and choose a template that includes queue elements. In the editor, the template automatically links to the live queue data from your connected system.
Step 4 — Position the template on a screen
Add the template to a playlist and publish it to the screen(s) at the relevant location. Each screen then shows the live queue information for that queue system.
Template & display settings
Configure how and when the queue information appears on your screens.
- Next customer (customer number) — the ticket number currently being called. Configure font size and colour.
- Desk / counter number — the desk the customer should report to. Configure font size and colour.
- Customers waiting — the numbers still in the queue. Configure font size and colour.
- Queue title — an optional heading above the queue panel.
- Show / hide — toggle the queue block on or off within the template.
- Animation — set how the block appears (e.g. fade in), its duration and delay, and whether it loops.
- Overlay URL (supported systems only) — for systems such as JCC, enter the full URL of the queue view; it is placed transparently over the full template.
