Menu Board Module

Manage digital menu boards centrally. Create categories, add products with prices, and update everything in real-time from any device.

What does this module do?

The Menu Board module lets you manage digital menu boards centrally. Create categories and products with prices, and manage everything from your desktop, laptop, or smartphone. Price changes are immediately reflected on screen.

How to set up

Set up the menu board once, then manage products and prices from the module.

Step 1 — Open the module

Go to Modules and open the Menu Board module.

Step 2 — Create categories

Create the categories for your menu board (e.g., Drinks, Snacks, Sandwiches). These categories will later be filled with products.

Step 3 — Add products

Open a category and click Products. For each product, enter:

  • Product name
  • Description (optional)
  • Price
  • Image (optional)

Set the display order by dragging and dropping products within the category.

Step 4 — Select a template

Go to Create Templates and search for "Menu". Open a menu board template.

Step 5 — Assign categories in the editor

In the editor, you will see your created categories on the left side. Click the + icon to add a category to the template. Drag and drop to reorder categories. Customise the layout (fonts, colours, images) as needed.

Step 6 — Save and publish

Save the template and add it to a playlist on your screen.

Ongoing management

After initial setup, all changes are made directly in the module.

Once the template is published, you never need to open the template editor again. From the module you can:

  • Add new products
  • Create new categories
  • Update prices — changes are reflected on screen immediately
  • Reorder products
  • Remove products
Tip

The Menu Board module can be managed from any device — including smartphones. This makes it easy for staff to update prices or add daily specials directly from the kitchen or service area.
