Connect your Google account once and display live Google Calendar and Google Analytics data on your screens. The module manages the secure connection — your templates automatically pull in the latest data.
What does this module do?
The Google module links your Google account to the platform through a secure Google login (OAuth). Once connected, Google Calendar and Google Analytics templates can display your data in real time, without you having to export or re-enter anything.
- Two integrations in one module — connect Google Calendar, Google Analytics, or both
- Secure Google login — you sign in directly with Google; the platform never sees your password
- One-time setup — connect once, and every Calendar/Analytics template you use draws from that connection
- Real-time data — templates refresh automatically so the screen always shows current agenda items and statistics
- Smart display for agendas — enable "Skip template if there are no meetings" so a Calendar template only appears when there is actually something on the agenda
- Easy to revoke — disconnect either integration at any time with one click
How to set up
Follow these steps to connect your Google account and put the data on screen.
Step 1 — Open the module
Navigate to Modules in the main menu and open the Google module. You will see two panels: Google Calendar and Google Analytics.
Step 2 — Connect Google Calendar
In the Google Calendar panel, click Log in with Google. A Google window opens where you:
- Choose the Google account you want to connect
- Review the requested permissions
- Confirm to grant access
After confirming, you are returned to the module. The panel now shows Google Calendar as connected, together with the date it was added.
Step 3 — Connect Google Analytics (optional)
In the Google Analytics panel, click Log in with Google and complete the same consent flow. Once connected, the panel shows the connection date and your Analytics data becomes available to Analytics templates.
You only need to connect the integration(s) you actually plan to use. Calendar and Analytics are independent — connecting one does not require the other.
Step 4 — Select a template
Go to the template library and filter by Module templates. Choose a Google Calendar or Google Analytics template. In the editor, the template automatically links to the Google module connection you just made.
Template & display settings
Configure how and what each template shows in the editor.
Google Calendar templates
- Calendar selection — choose which calendar(s) from your Google account should be displayed
- Skip if no meetings — enable "Skip template if there are no meetings" so the template is hidden on days with an empty agenda and appears automatically when meetings are scheduled
- Background — set the gradient colours and gradient type to match your house style
Google Analytics templates
- Analytics property — select which Google Analytics property (website/app) to report on
- Report type — choose the reporting period: Realtime, or the last 3, 7, 14, or 30 days
- Title & styling — set the heading text, colours, and background
Publishing
Add the template to your playlist and set it to always play. The module keeps the data current, and (for Calendar) the "skip if empty" option decides when the template is shown or hidden.
Managing the connection
The module page always shows the current status and the date each integration was added.
To remove an integration, click Disconnect (Ontkoppelen) in the relevant panel and confirm. This revokes the platform’s access to that Google service; any templates using it will stop showing data until you reconnect.
Privacy & data use
The Google module’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See our privacy policy for more information.
